Responsibilities of an Event Cyclist
Event Cyclists are critical to the success of the race, with roles that include:
- Lead Cyclists:
Guide participants through the designated course for the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K, ensuring runners stay on the correct route.
- Tail Cyclists:
Support runners at the back of the pack, ensuring no one is left behind and providing assistance if needed.
- Route Reporting:
Communicate effectively with the event crew to report on runner progress, route conditions, or any incidents requiring attention.
These roles are vital to maintaining the event’s safety standards and helping participants complete their races successfully.
