Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. One in three of us will get cancer and 2.5 million of us are living with it, with that number rising to four million by 2030. We can help because we are Macmillan.
Every day 29 people in Hampshire hear the devastating news that they have cancer. This will see Hampshire’s population of people living with cancer more than double between 2010 and 2030. This huge increase will in turn result in thousands more local people feeling isolated and alone, every day, even after treatment ends. Macmillan and its supporters must take action now to make sure we’re there to solve these issues.
When you’re facing cancer it can feel like you’ve lost control, Macmillan is here to help you take it back. Whether it’s a nurse being there from the moment you’re diagnosed, a helping hand with your everyday chores, advice about money worries or just someone ready to listen when you need to talk. Cancer isn’t going away but if you run for Team Macmillan, we can help make sure no one faces it alone
Together, we are all Macmillan Cancer Support.
