If you are looking for a challenge this April, why not experience Southampton in a new way, by foot. ABP Southampton Marathon offers full, half and 10k distances where you can take in Southampton’s best views whilst supporting your local hospital.
Taking place on 24 April, all funds raised through ABP Southampton Marathon for Southampton Hospitals Charity (SHC) will go towards supporting world class healthcare to enhance the lives of patients at University Hospital Southampton.
Judith Stephens, Southampton Hospitals Charity, says: “Sponsoring the ABP Southampton Marathon is the highlight of our events calendar. The race is a great opportunity for us to engage our supporters on home turf and is proving ever popular, with growing numbers of our supporters taking on the challenge. We are excited about our partnership and enabling our supporters to challenge themselves and make a real difference to their local hospital.”
With the support of the community, SHC strives to enhance and transform the treatment, care and support that is provided for patients and their families. By fundraising, you can make the hospital experience better for thousands of patients every year, and through theCharity, these donations enable the hospital to improve facilities, provide equipment and fund ground-breaking research as well as support staff.
