Join us for the Southampton 5km Race Challenge in April
This event will give you the finish line feeling amongst thousands of other runners! Perfect for first timers who want to give a running event a go.
With the Marathon, Half marathon and 10K events as well, the atmosphere is always encouraging and friendly, no matter your pace. The Race Village is always buzzing with support and excitement too.
Please note you must be 12 years or older to take part in this event

The route
All distances start and finish in the centrally located Southampton Guildhall Square.
This inspiring route begins in the city centre before taking you through Queen’s Park for a spot of entertainment to keep you going!
With St Mary’s Stadium in your sights, you’ll head towards Solent University past more of the city’s green spaces. You’ll then be on the home straight ready to focus on the finish line with the crowds cheering you on… and perhaps a final sprint!
