Two south coast companies are celebrating 15 years in partnership this year with Hendy Group continuing its sponsorship of sports event company Rees Leisure for 2023.
Hendy Group commercial director Mark Busby said the last 15 years have seen tremendous growth for both organisations as the automotive group has expanded its presence in the south and Rees Leisure has added more events to its portfolio.
“Our first sponsorship was supporting the Wessex Swim School, one of the key areas of business for Rees Leisure at the time,” said Mark.
“Each year Chris Rees and the team have expanded its programme for those looking to take part in sporting events and over the years we have increased our support to include running, triathlon and cycling events,” he added.
For 2023 Hendy Group continues as official transport partner to Rees Leisure supporting a wide range of events including the ABP Southampton Marathon, Winchester Marafun, Trethowans Salisbury Marafun, and the Southampton Sporterium.
“The range of events provides us with an ideal opportunity to showcase our own brands to thousands of people in the heart of where Hendy Group operates,” said Mark.
“Competitors, their supporters and spectators will see a range of our cars at events and the enthusiastic nature and proactive approach of Rees Leisure is a perfect fit for Hendy Group.”
For ReesLeisure, the support of Hendy Group means the team has use of a branded car and support of one of the largest names in the south.
